Our mission is to increase general public awareness of the key issues and importance of these first 1001 critical days and to inspire changes that help to create a world where parents feel supported and every child has the best possible start in life. 

The long term project aims to inspire sustainable improvements in the mental and physical health of future generations. Our hope is that it will contribute indirectly to a reduction in public sector spending at other stages of life, as well as improving mental and physical health and reducing behavioural and emotional disorders throughout life.

Help us help babies have the best start in life by donating to our awareness raising art and science exhibition that will go on tour in the Autumn… Your donation, however big or small, will help us to create the pop-up exhibition that we can transport around the UK to key stakeholder and public events. Following the success of the first two expos, we already have several major expressions of interest from various UK local authorities who see the value of raising awareness about this important time. 

The money we raise will go directly to design, print and manufacture the pop up exhibition and enable it to go on tour with the necessary costs associated with a touring exhibition. We will also ask venues for a donation to support the exhibitions onward journey.

Visitors to the exhibition will discover the importance of supporting perinatal mental health and what they can do. We will share the latest scientific knowledge alongside people with lived experience embellished with artists who work in this area. They will share how infant brain development can be improved by good nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding, being less stressed, creating a secure attachment/bonding, gentle birthing practices and more support for parents.
