Professor Monica Lakhanpaul, Prof. of Integrated Community Child Health, University College London (UCL) in partnership with DBT/ Wellcome Trust India Alliance (India Alliance) and team members are organising a Virtual Exhibition titled:

The Early Years – A Window of Opportunity A Global Art & Science Exhibition

Launching on 26th March 2021

We would like to take this opportunity to request your gracious participation and support for this unique public engagement initiative. The aim of this exhibition is to raise awareness on child health in India highlighting the formative first 1000 days of a child’s life – from conception to early childhood. The Virtual Exhibition will showcase photographs from the PANChSHEEEL Project, India and selected artwork from the Birthing a Better Future Art & Science Exhibition by Zero2 Expo originally launched in the House of commons, UK; the exhibition will also include artwork collected from Indian rural and urban artists. In addition, we will screen films and hold a panel discussion comprising of distinguished policymakers, researchers, and artists committed to Child, Maternal and Family Health at the launch of the virtual exhibition. We welcome your creative entries – Arts, Films or Posters – addressing our key themes (refer link) – from yourself and colleagues, including students. Selected entries will be showcased at the virtual exhibition, to be launched on 26 March 2021, with the possibility of being part of a physical exhibition in New Delhi later in the year.
